As we move past the first month mark of our public campaign, things continue to move along on all fronts.
We are excited to announce our first major department head joining the team!
Besides actors, director, and screenplay – the most important thing in movie making is, of course, the camera! And the person behind the camera is one of the most important people on a movie set, the Director of Photography.
To that end, I’m excited to introduce to you, Laurence Avenet-Bradley, who is coming on board to be our Director of Photography!
Laurence (Lo as she is known on set) – is a seasoned and amazing Director of Photography, who is also absolutely fearless. Her work in film and television spans more than two decades and besides a wonderful artistic eye, she also is a Steadicam operator, certified drone operator, crane operator – the works. This woman is unstoppable!
In addition to having been a DP (Director of Photography) and camera operator for many years, Lo has also produced six feature films. This makes her intimately aware and mindful of money spent on production. This combination of artistic, technical and pragmatic abilities (along with her sheer stamina) makes her the perfect person to join our team in this important and critical capacity.
Having known Lo for many of those years, I have been a big fan of her work and couldn’t be happier to say… “Welcome to the team, Laurence Avenet-Bradley!”
