Big Update - CASTING DIRECTOR!

We are incredibly excited to announce that Russell Boast, CSA, has joined our team as casting director!

Casting is one of the most pivotal elements in the filmmaking process, and securing the right person for the job can make all the difference. Russell brings with him not only vast experience but also an unparalleled artistic vision, exceptional people skills, and a pragmatic approach that will be invaluable to our project. Simply put, he’s a rockstar, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have him onboard.

Meet Russell Boast, CSA

Russell Boast, CSA

Born and raised in South Africa, Russell began his illustrious film career working alongside producer Lloyd Phillips and director Martin Campbell on Beyond Borders (2002), starring Angelina Jolie and Clive Owen. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2004, Russell has become a highly sought-after casting director across Hollywood’s theatre, film, and television industries.

Russell is a former President of the Casting Society of America (CSA), where he championed key initiatives in Inclusion and Diversity, as well as Training and Education. His casting work spans two decades, collaborating with all the major studios and networks.

Recent credits include:

  • Nash Bridges (TV Movie) with Don Johnson, Cheech Marin, and Jeff Perry
  • Squealer (Feature Film) starring Tyrese Gibson, Wes Chatham, Theo Rossi, and Kate Moennig
  • Hindsight: The Day Before (Podcast Series) featuring John Goodman, Santiago Cabrera, Ian Anthony Dale, and Merrin Dungey
  • Skelly (Feature Film) with Brian Cox and Torrey DeVitto
  • Don’t Turn Out the Lights, directed by the incredible Andy Fickman.
